THE SCRAPBOOK FINALLY ARRIVED in 2013!!!! You were all very patient and finally after many months of waiting, you can buy your own copy of the Scrapbook. All 168 pages have now been scanned and converted into a form where they should be easy to view on your computer or TV. Copies are available in two different formats: a CD-ROM if you have a computer with a disc drive b USB memory stick for use with a Netbook or Tablet PC which does not have a disc drive. They both contain exactly the same data, it is just a case of which is more convenient for you to use. The Scrapbook has been divided into 8 Sections and each are individually indexed. For each section there is a .pdf version which is probably more convenient to view on a computer, but also a series of .jpg files, similar to those that your camera would take. These may be more convenient if you are viewing on a TV, but they contain less detail. Copies of the Scrapbook are still on sale at meetings of the Heritage Society or from the Treasurer Ray Andrews (01604 858252) or any Committee member, the CD is £5 and the Memory stick £10. Further copies of the original “George” CD are also available. IT’S NOT TOO LATE Having seen the Scrapbook, several people have said “I wish I’d done a page”, well you still can! We are now starting to plan for an updated edition..
